Ironwood offers individual lunch leagues, team league nights, and weekend tournaments, open to all players—regardless of ability or experience level. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking for an excuse to get out once a week, we’ve got a league for you.
- Lunch Leagues – Step away from the office for a midday round
- Evening Team Leagues – Grab a friend and play for payouts, playoffs, and prizes
- Seasonal Tournaments – Compete in flighted stroke play events on world-famous courses
- Champions League – Win your flight? You get a shot at the Champions League Final and your name on the Iron Cup (unless we lose the Cup or get kicked out of the building—either way, it’ll be fun).

Lunch Leagues
- When? Monday-Thursday during Spring Session
- Format: 10 individual match play 18-hole matches + 2 playoff weeks
- Courses: Play at Torrey Pines, Spyglass Hill, and other iconic courses
- Extras: Round Robin play, season-long standings, cash payouts, playoffs, and championships
Evening Team Leagues
- When? Monday-Thursday during Spring Session
- Format: 10 9-hole 2-man team matches + 2 weeks of playoffs
- Courses: Compete on Dismal River, Pebble Beach, and more
- Extras: Season-long standings, cash payouts, and a league championship
Regardless of which league you choose, the sense of community at Ironwood won’t change. We’ll send out fun weekly updates, offer drink specials, and celebrate the game, each other, and our champions.
Champions League – The Best of the Best
When the schedule allows, we’ll take the top teams from each flight and throw them into a Champions League Final. If you win, your team name gets engraved on the Cup for all of time (or at least until we lose the Cup or someone spills beer on it).

Considerations: We will use GHIN handicaps for all play. If a player does not have a GHIN handicap, they will play without a handicap for 2 rounds so that we can establish a FGHIN (Fake Golf Handicap and Index Network). Players may choose their flights, create their own, or will be grouped by GHIN or FGHIN depending on the league. Every other session there will be an extra week for Champions League Play where the champions from each night will play off for the right to have their teams’ names engraved on the Champions Cup. Please have fun and relax. After all, it’s just a game.
